கதை சித்திரம்

Kathai Chithiram

Story to picture.

Kathai Chithiram turns a parent’s own story into a calm, captioned animation a child can actually understand. You describe the moment in your words; it becomes a gentle, paced, predictable visual narrative — made for your child, on demand.

Private by design · a human reviews every draft · works fully offline, no key

How it works

From your words to a story your child can hold onto

Three gentle steps — a parent never touches code.

01

Write the story

In your own words, describe your child’s moment — “Silas is scared of brushing his teeth.” A guided intake walks you through consent, the story, and a review-gated draft.

02

It becomes a scene script

Your story is turned into a structured, child-appropriate script — short sentences, clear steps, a predictable rhythm. An offline mode does this on your machine, no key, no network.

03

Watch the animation

The script renders into a gentle, captioned video — content-aware scenes and soft transitions, under seizure/flash and gentle-audio safety guards.

The first hand-built story, “Silas Shines His Smile,” is an 11-scene tooth-brushing routine — the kind of everyday moment that becomes so much calmer when a child can watch it first.

Why it’s built this way

Gentle for the child. Safe for the family.

Built on social stories

The proven principle behind visual schedules — a calm, predictable, visual narrative helps a child comprehend a situation far better than words alone.

Personal, not generic

Your child’s name, your situation, your words — not a stock clip. The story is theirs, generated on demand.

Private by design

The name is stripped before any model sees the text; scene scripts hold only a token; consent is the lawful basis; right-to-erasure cascades to every story.

A human review gate

Every draft is held for a parent — or an assigned therapist — to approve before a child ever sees it. The gate is enforced in code, not by policy.

Safety at render time

Seizure and flash guards, plus gentle-audio limits, are applied automatically as the animation is rendered.

Therapist-ready

Roles for therapists, programs and goals, and progress tracked against a policy — so a story fits into a plan of care.

Turn your story into something your child can understand.

Kathai Chithiram is an early, single-operator prototype — the full pipeline, from a parent’s story to a captioned draft, is built and working. The code, the safety model, and the story schema are open to read.
