A new Vaishnava temple currently under construction in Mambakkam village, built by the local community and dedicated to Sri NeelaMega Perumal with Sri Devi and BhuDevi.
The new temple at Mambakkam is a living project — conceived, funded, and built by the hands and hearts of the village.
Construction began in late 2025. The foundation stone was laid with a traditional ceremony, blessed with turmeric and flowers by members of the community. The sanctum walls are plastered and textured, and work continues through the seasons.
This temple belongs to everyone from Mambakkam. Updates, photos, and milestones will be posted here as the work continues.
